One in a billion

With a house full of estrogen driven females, James really looks forward to his quiet time during the day. I would too if I were him! What I love are the little notes I find in his room later. Like this little gem...
translation: For Emma, I know you do not want me and Lane to kiss you but you have to someday.
Emma was a girl that lived down the street from us in our old neighborhood. He had asked if he could kiss her and she said that her mom told her she wasn't allowed to kiss boys...hence the note.

Translation: I missed you a lot Dad and I love you very much I always love you and you always love me and I like you and you like me and I love you very much Dad
This one he wrote after Ben had been at meetings all day and night.

Translation: To do list love Indy. Try to kiss her if she does not kiss you try to trick her
This one had me laughing for awhile, especially after I asked James to explain it to me. He had recently watched Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark (for the millionth time ever) and was talking about the time on the boat where Indy was hurt and Marion was kissing the cuts on his face - until Indy "tricked" her into kissing his lips. He thought it was so tricky of Indiana Jones to do that - should I be worried?

James has been DEVOURING these Magic Treehouse books. He finished all the ones we owned so I checked out a bunch from the library. We'll see how long they last - at the rate he's been going I'll be lucky to have them last the week!

That little James is totally SOMETHING ELSE! What a huge pile of smarts he has. And I think he gets his predilection for amore by watching his daddy in action.

Those notes are more than priceless! Don't lose a one!
