Happy Anniversary!!

When Ben and I were engaged we decided to spend one afternoon picking out the new bedding for our future bed.

That day led to first real argument we had ever had.

You see I'm an extreme girly girl and Ben is extremely modern. We COULD NOT find anything that we were both comfortable enough with. Many weeks and countless stores later we both settled on something that we were both OK with.

It's been 8 years now and I've been ready for new bedding, but dreading the argument that would most definitely follow.

Good thing Ben loves me because this is what he gave me for our anniversary. 

Underneath the "blanket" I found this:

"I hereby crown you queen and ruler of Bedlandia, and bequeath unto all all of the rights, powers and privileges herewith associated. I grant you full and unchecked control of all bed regalia and affiliated furnishings, It is implicitly understood that there need not be any spousal input regarding the composition, configuration or coloration of said bed-related paraphernalia. It is intended that no grievances should be raised by the conceding party, though the entrusted party should be expected to continually act in good faith, especially with regards to limiting total pillow count. These rights and privileges are held to be irrevocable until such time as the controlling party allows a re-distribution of power to all interested parties. Signed, this eighth year of marriage, by Benjamin Davis."

Seriously, he could not have made a more perfect present!
