When David and Chris were planning their wedding, they wanted to have a dinner for the wedding party and all the family/close friends that had flown in for the event. We looked at a couple different restaurants but ended up choosing to have it in my parent's back yard! This wasn't necessarily the rehearsal, that would come the next day. This was just a laid back evening to celebrate and chat. We worked for a week to get my parent's yard in top notch condition. We planted new flowers, laid bark dust in all the beds and strung up lights from the trees to the top story of the house. It was beautiful! I wish that I had taken photos during the day of everything. I was a little busy with the food and catching up with the family that had just got to town :) Luckily we had professional photographers there to capture some of the night.
David and Chris have the most amazing, loyal, loving friends. They are some of the most genuine, considerate and non-judgmental people I have ever met. To see these two boys that I love so much, surrounded by love and support was an incredible feeling.
