It was a little tricky mapping this trip out. Having to be in certain cities by certain days and making sure Ben fulfilled his work duties meant a little compromise. One of those compromises ended up being that we had to go to Legoland on a day where they closed earlier than normal. With it being the end of their season it made sense, but it meant that we would have to pack in both the amusement and water park in the same day, in a short window.
This park was perfect for all of us. The kids are all super into Legos so they were enthralled, while Ben and I marveled at the talent and time commitment the builders had.

| James was seriously blown away |
| I gave the kids my camera and let them go to town taking pictures. Then my battery died! |
The rides were a bit juvenile but they all loved the driving school. It was the perfect time because you have to be 6 to do the driving school, which Briella had just turned! We thought for sure that she would be that one kid that drove the wrong way and blew through all the stop signs. We were very pleasantly surprised when she took it extremely seriously and was the near-perfect driver!
This was our favorite ride. We went on it over and over again.
We saved the water park for last and wish we had a couple more hours there. The big hit was the wave pool, of course.
All in all it was a great day. We're really glad we did this before Disneyland because there really was no comparison. It was a great introduction to amusement parks.
