Baby clothes

I'm one of those moms that holds onto baby clothes for sentimental reasons. I cannot even tell you how many "discussions" Ben and I have had about the bins (upon bins) of clothes currently residing in our attic.

A couple years ago, when my sister and sister-in-law were both pregnant (1 year apart) with boys due in the winter it was the perfect opportunity to lend out some of James' numerous clothes (Ben would interject here and nicely remind me that some of them even had price tags still - his way of saying the kid had too many clothes in the first place).

These clothes brought me happiness whenever I saw my (now three) nephews wearing them. I could picture James at that particular age and loved seeing the similarities between the boys. I had just gotten some of his 0-3 month clothes back and was putting them away when I got to the outfit that we had brought him home from the hospital in. I was immediately flooded with the memories of that day and teared up thinking about how much my sweet baby James has changed and how much he hasn't at the same time.

It's a good thing I'll have my little nephew Matthew tomorrow because I need a baby boy fix in a big way - even though he's three months younger and on his way to out-growing Briella.

If Matthew can't help then someone needs to have a baby quick...

Oh Nicki, You're too cute. I'm sorry my boys don't stay small for very long. Last night, Matthew even looked like he was about to crawl!! That boy wants to be part of the action, not just an observer. It's totally insane.

Hey! I know where you can get a darling baby boy to play with! First you take your EXTRA LARGE baby boy and play with him a lot. Then, "POOF!" nine months later you have a cute little tiny baby boy.

Unless you have another cute baby girl and a nervous breakdown.
