One of my favorite books as a child was called Five Minutes Peace. It's about a mom who is trying to enjoy her breakfast but keeps getting interrupted by her three kids.
I never really understood the humor and raw reality behind it until recently. I was trying to "enjoy" a bowl a cereal when James and Avery decided that they both "HAD" to sit on my lap at the same time and they both "HAD" to have a bite of cereal. While they consumed the rest of my breakfast Briella decided to make her voice heard and demand her breakfast as well. I immediately thought about this book and laughed. I am now positive that the author wrote the book based off of real-life experiences.

I LOVE your blog "Ben" (It does say Ben at the top). But I know it's Nicki writing. I love your Blog, Nicki.
LOL! I completely understand! Love that book!
Isn't that the truth. That's why I almost always eat my meals after the kids are done and occupied doing something else. I HATE being interrupted during a meal and having to eat it cold!
