I doubt that we have many other people viewing our blog, let alone other guys, but I'm hoping that there's at least one man out here who can feel my pain. You can quickly look through our very limited blog, encapsulating our life of late, and notice the obvious discrepancy. There are about 254 words dedicated to the description of our kids lives, and the joy they bring to us. I've penned 180 words selfishly about myself. And then someone (insert steely glare here), spent about 2,000 words decribing how great the view of Tim McGraw's ...er, performance...was from the second row.
Now I'm a pretty secure guy, and I'm one of a few guys in the country who's satisfied in his relationship with his life and wife, but I've got to admit for the record that there is about a three day period surrounding the influx of McGraw-ness into our home, wherein my wife is happy, there are more giggles around, and my wife starts talking with a southern accent and blastin' country tunes. (OK, so I made up the part about the accent, but you get the idea.)
Anyway, I just want to point out that if anyone out there knows about a support group for this type of thing, I'd love to know about it. I'm still waiting to see where my wife decides to hang the photo she had blown up of Tim (16x20!?), or put the poster size photo montage of him that she made. Maybe someday I'll have enough self-confidence to venture out into public again and if I see you I'll let you know how it all turned out.

Oh man. sorry about that. I can kind of relate because Kelly has a man-crush on John Mellencamp. Although not as horrific (sorry, Nicki--I'm from the city) as Tim Mcgraw, I do get a feel for it every once in a while when I have to listen to more JCM than just Little Pink Houses and Jack and Diane.
By the way, you need to log in here and represent...

Just for the record, I didn't blow up the picture of Tim, nor did I put together the montage. My darling sister gave them to me for my birthday, and I was the dedicated wife who talked her out of replacing our wedding pictures with said Tim goodness, so I do know my limits.
