Our original plan was to hit a park before the wedding, but since my Dad had to take Bethany to the airport at 4 am, we decided to sleep instead. We had a lazy morning and then went to see the new Hunger Games movie. We figured we would have plenty of time to get ready for the wedding but we didn't take into account how far away the theater was! Once we got back to the rental house we had literally 15 minutes to get ready.
The wedding was held at a beautiful zoo. As we were getting there it started raining like crazy. It cleared up for long enough for the ceremony, but then it turned into a torrential down pour. It was so loud we could barely hear each other speak. We were supposed to walk around the zoo while the wedding party was taking pictures but that was out. We had to just wait until the ballroom was ready for us. Most of my dad's family was there so it was nice getting to visit with them.
The set up was gorgeous. I wish I had taken more pictures, especially when it was light out. We danced a ton, had some really good food and laughed a bunch. I'm so happy for Natalie and Kevin, they're going to have a beautiful life together.
