Now I feel bad

It's been one of those days. The kids were at each other's throats so I sent them upstairs while I finished feeding Briella.

When I got upstairs, probably 10 minutes later, Avery had taken her clean clothes out of the dryer, taken them to her room and was attempting to put them away. James had gotten a stool and taken the clothes from the washer and put them in the dryer. When I tried to help him reach the ones at the very bottom he said, "no, I've got it, that's what the sword is for (he was using it to drag stuff up from the bottom) I don't want you to have to work right now."

I felt conflicting emotions of guilt, happiness, but mostly pride that the kids know what makes me happy.

Now if they'll only learn how to clean the bathrooms.

OH....MY....GOODNESS! Train them young, right? I'm sending Sean to your house for some lessons. You don't even have to do anything, your kids will get him working.

Laughing riotously! You SLAVE DRIVER, you! But isn't it sweet that they know how to melt an angry Mommy's heart. Better reward them big time!
