So tomorrow is our anniversary and since our kids are at the age where they don't really get "secrets" I thought I would take advantage of it and ask James what Ben was getting for me.
Here is how the conversation went:
Me: Hey James, what's daddy getting me?
James: (with a seriously excited face) He got you two new scrubbers!
Me: Scrubbers?
James: Yeah, one for the bathroom and one for the kitchen! So they can be EXTRA clean!
Me: (laughing so hard I can barely stand up)
James: Mommy, aren't you so excited?!
So obviously Ben knew that I would ask and prepped James. He got a pretty good laugh about it later that night.
I'll have to get him back somehow :)

Seriously, that just might be one of the funniest stories I've ever heard. Funny on so many levels. I love that James always spills the beans and I love that Ben knew to set him and you up!

Hahaha! I can't believe Ben knows you well enough to know you'd ask James and prepped him for it. Oh man, that's funny!
Kelly knows I hate to have secrets/surprises blown ahead of time so he'd never think to hide it from me. And I'd never ask.
