I've talked about
this before and I have to say I'm a little worried. Briella's eyes are starting to change so I found a picture of James at the same age to try and compare them.
This is James at eight months:
And this is Briella at eight months:

They are definitely more green than blue - certainly not brown. And they look about the same. I may just have to resign myself to the fact that my kids will not have blue eyes.
Maybe I'm just sad that Ben's genes get to take credit for their beautiful eyes. I mean seriously, I wish my eyes were this pretty!

Oh Nicki, I feel your pain. Seriously. It took me five tries to get a non-brown eyed child. It's worth it. Just keep trying! (No biggie, right?)
P.S. Most definitely they are all brown-eyed kids.
P.P.S. I love the blog design! It would look great in my house!
Indeed YES to Jennie's last comment! Are you sure this isn't HER blog? Darling blog. SUPER DARLING kids and eyes! How come James always looks astonished?
Honestly, except for James less-on-the-inside brows, anyone would swear these are pictures of the same eyes.
Your chances of non-brown are slim, Sweet-cakes. Ben has only ONE blue eyed progenitor, and Darren had TWO, plus VERY blue eyes himself.
Briella's eyes look JUST like Ben's! And YOUR eyes, of course are gorgeous!
A) I wouldn't consider James or Briella's eyes brown. Seriously.
B) Your eyes are gorgeous!!! I don't know what you're talking about.
p.s. I agree, your new blog design is so cute! Did Ben do it?
Thank you for all the lovely comments about my eyes :) Ben surprisingly did not redesign the blog - I pieced it together myself using stuff from shabbyblogs.com.
