Holiday happenings

It's beginning to look like Christmas around here!

The kids all got their Christmas pajamas from Nanna and Pappa at Thanksgiving so they can wear them all month. And they have been. Non-stop.

We decorated a gingerbread house. My darling kids have reached the age when all they want to do is make silly faces when I take their picture.

We went Christmas tree hunting. We let the kids pick the tree out. Avery wanted this one. She said it was "so cute".

Once we got the tree home we realized it was a little too tall :)

After Ben took like a foot off of it, it was time to decorate. Briella pretty much just ran around, asking me to take her picture and then making funny faces (she loves copying her siblings).

I have no idea why Briella wanted to wear a birthday hat but it made her happy so there you have it!

I'm totally jealous of your tree hunting there. I wish we had that here.

Have you heard of the book called Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree? It's a cute story about a man who has a tree that's too tall so he chops off the top and throws it out, only it gets found by someone else who goes through the same process until several more folks all end up with a Christmas tree from the top part that was thrown away by Mr. Willowby.
Your kids are so cute! Merry Christmas!

What a GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL TREE! I'm so glad Jennie's family got to be there. But I'm also glad I got to be with Arianne's family. Daphne loved your Zhu-Zhu pet present, but it was Beck who played with them non-stop for the next week . . . never mind the remote-control Big-Wheel truck I gave him. Kelly liked that, though. Who'd-a-thunk-it?
