My Dad gave Ben a car a few years ago. It's a 1983 Porsche 944. This baby has seen some days and has the battle scars to prove it. We've put more money into fixing it than it's worth but we've also save a ton of money on labor because Ben does all the work on it himself. He loves this car and has almost no complaints about it, except for the paint job. He decided awhile back that he wanted to repaint himself and researched the crap out of it.
I'm happy to report that after roughly 3 months and 200+ man hours it is officially done!

Seriously, these pictures don't even do it justice. It's this gorgeous coppery, orange metallic color.
I am so impressed by him I can't even explain it. Not only does it look like a brand new car, he saved us over $10,000 by doing it himself.

WOW-DE-DOW! I'm so glad you put in a picture. It is gorgeous, but looks bing-cherry red on my computer, though I know it's supposed to be copper-orange. And I, too, am constantly blown away by what Ben can do when he puts his mind to it. Fantastic guy! Fantastic-looking car!
