Zebras and Camels and Giraffes, Oh My!

A couple of weekends ago we were itching for an adventure so we went a day trip to southern Oregon. We caravaned with some good friends to a drive-through wildlife safari park.

It was awesome.

We're definitely going again, soon.

Here you can see the rhinos under the tree.

We let the kids roam free in the car (we were never going more than 5 mph). James and Avery spent most of the time hanging out of the sunroof - yelling out what animals they saw to our friends in the car ahead of us.

This was my favorite part - I don't even know what it is - but the babies were DARLING. I was seriously considering getting out of the car to pick one up - if only we hadn't been so close to the huge yaks!

We put James and Avery in our friend's car while they got it washed by the elephants. I guess Avery was laughing super hard during the whole thing.

They had a little petting zoo at the end.

Who knew we had such a cool place in Oregon?!

That really is so cool! Why don't we have stuff like that here? I'm pretty sure Utah's has perfect giraffe/zebra/elephant weather/landscape.
