No Boys Allowed (or kids for that matter)

My darling mother turned 50 on July 13th and wanted to celebrate with a girl's only trip to Victoria, BC. Bethany, Betsy and I ditched our husbands and kids for three fun-filled days. I have not laughed so hard, for so long, at the silliest things in my life. We made so many memories that will triggered by a mere phrase in the years to come. We are going to have to make it a yearly tradition.

This is where we stayed.

When we had come back to the hotel - the housekeeper had done this to Bethany's bear.

Totally random.

We spent an entire day at Butchart Gardens. It was perfect.

Can you see the bee?

High tea in the garden room (it was SO good).

Where the heck are the flowers?

Even the garbage cans were pretty!

We had taken the ferry to Victoria from Port Angeles so we HAD to stop here on our way home. It would have been a crime not to :) It was totally worth it, even though we got home 4 hours later than we had planned on. At least we got some good pictures and clothes to commemorate it
Where should we go next year girls?

What a deal! I'm green with envy!

Hey, wait! I'm the MOM! I can do this any time I want, (provided I get a lot richer.) Let's see: October -- getting chilly. How about a trip to Cancun? (Can we all camp in tents there?)

You know, that welcome sign at Forks ought to add a picture of a vampire. Why else would anyone go there? They should PAY Stephanie Meyer for her enrichment to their tourist trade.

Twilight reference..... "LOVE IT"
hehe. It was good to laugh and be silly and carry mom on my back and hear about mouse tarantulas.
