Christmas Eve for us was spent at my parent's house. The kids acted out the nativity, and I don't even know where to start with that. Between our shirtless, pink tight, white, furry boot wearing angel, our calm, sweet Mary and the fact that baby Jesus had to be played by a certain baby girl, it was definitely a night of memories.
Bethany, Ben, Mackayla, Hunter, my Dad and David came over first thing Christmas morning and we had the kids open all their presents, then headed over to my parent's to open all the adult's presents. We had an awesome brunch of eggs benedict and sticky buns and spent the day lazing around.
This is what James did all day long, I barely saw him.
And this was Briella's day, lucky girl.We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday - I didn't get to Christmas cards this year, again, maybe I'll get it together by Valentine's Day!

What cuties! And I can't imagine a more angelic angel than a shirtless, tights-wearing, furry-booted Avery.
I need to see the video footage some time. Sorry Matthew couldn't be there to play Jesus. I was looking forward to that since he is so little. Oh well. I'm sure Briella did a great job.
