Ben's family decided to come to Oregon! Hildie was going to be driving her kids from Texas, camping along the way. Everyone else flew in. We found a beach house in Lincoln City we could all stay in.
Took them to one of our favorite beaches, Pacific City.
We had one dinner night out, just the adults.
Ben took anyone who wanted crabbing.
While the boys were golfing, Ari and I took the kids to the Newport Aquarium.
Lots of card and board games.
Ben designed a family shirt. The "It could be worse" is actually what is carved in his dad's tombstone. The crabs are the siblings, the seashells the spouses, the starfish all the cousins and the seagull is Lorie. We went over to Neskowin to take some family pictures.
Then for dinner that night, we had the traditional Davis Family schnitzle and spaetzle.
On our way back to Portland we stopped at the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
Ari and her kids stayed with us for a couple days so we did a downtown Portland day. Grilled Cheese bus, Salt and Straw and fountains.
I sure love Ben's family.
