Here's what's been going on in my brain and with my family. The good, the bad and the ugly :)
* Ben competed in a race/obstacle course last weekend in sunny California with one of his oldest friends. He got a really cool shirt out of it. I wish I could get a shirt recognizing the fact that I single- handedly managed to get through a crazy weekend with the kids, while being sick.
*Being sick for two weeks sucks.
*James made the coolest comic book I have ever seen. I'm going to have to scan and post it. I'll add that to my ever growing list of to dos.
* Do you know how hard it is to write a primary program with 103 parts and 12 songs, and keep it under 45 minutes? I also didn't know I would lose sleep stressing over seating charts for said program. If I didn't love Primary so much this would do me in for sure.
* I think I want to become a hermit. For reals.
* I've been wanting to completely change my "look" for the longest time. I would need to diet and exercise first, and just typing that wore me out so never mind. What's the point of dressing differently if you're not leaving the house anyways?
* I saw this really cute craft on a blog and wanted to copy it. It involved a foam wreath, zebra print duct tape and 2 bags of candy corn. I now have a super cute wreath on the door that all the kids think they get to eat after Halloween, is it too much to hope it will last forever? It took WAY too long to have it last only two weeks.
* Speaking of crafts...I spent hours making a tutu for Avery that I was super stoked about...until she informed me that I had picked the wrong colors and would have nothing to do with it. Merry Christmas Briella!
* Ben is seriously the best husband ever. I could write a book about all the stuff he puts up with and never complains about. I would literally go insane without him.
* My mom wants to open up a bakery with me in the near future. I tried to tell her that I barely cook for my own family, how in the world does she expect me to do it for complete strangers?
* My mom makes me laugh.
* I spent a weekend watching three seasons of Chuck. I can't believe I didn't watch this years ago! I kind of have a crush on Chuck, which is ok because he reminds me of Ben, because Ben is a super, secret CIA agent, didn't you know?
* My kids have been missing Fun Mommy. I just realized that Halloween is almost here and we haven't even been to a pumpkin patch! I'm going to have to remedy that immediately. I also think I'm going to take a vacation away from tv/internet. I was super fun and productive when I didn't have those distractions.

AWww.nickiiiiii! i dont want you to be a hermit crab..occasionally yes..all the time..it isnt all that it is cracked up to be..that is what my life entales right now and i can tell you..it is noooo fun. Just one request for me...if you are ousting the internet? will you still text and call me? i will be soo sad if i dont get my nicki fix! I love reading your blogs and it makes me feel like i am still five minutes down the road from you... i miss you. I wanted to thank you again for taking such good care of me while we were there..i miss you already!
We haven't been to a pumpkin patch either. Because there aren't any in Texas. Don't even get me started on the lack of Christmas Tree farms!

One day to do that, and the next day is a hermit day to recover from it:)
