We reached a milestone this year - James is now too cool to trick-or-treat with his mom. He made some friends at our ward trunk-or-treat and refused to accompany Avery and I. On top of that, Avery met a girl (dressed as a fairy) that was cooler than me as well. While Ben was manning the van, I walked around, keeping an eye out for my children that wanted nothing to do with me. Oh well, at least they had fun!
Afterwards we headed to my parents for dinner and more trick-or-treating.
I hope you all had an awesome Halloween, now I need to hit the gym - big time :)

ok seriously can these pictures get any cuter!! i love the costumes!! sooo cool! I remember accidentaly saying to avery " are you snow white?" My oh my, was she not happy that i called her snow white. hahaha she gets this look on her face and says to me"im aurora" and since i dont remember nor do i have boys who follow pricess' i was not sure who aurora was...And she said...sleeping beauty! hahahahah! I am soo glad i have my princess! I love that girl! Anyhow..super cute pics!
Those little dollies are so huggable I can HARDLY wait to get there next week!

I'm taking a religion class at UVSC with all the college kids. Today I told some of the young guys how Ben went out as a missionary AFTER his mission, complete with suit, nametag and pillowcase, and CLEANED UP WITH THE CANDY (and testimonies.) They were SOOOO impressed, some of them swore they were going to try that next years.
P.S. James would have made a perfect YOUNG Anakin Skywalker! The right age and everything!
I can't believe your kids are already too cool to hang out with their mom! What??? I know Daphne is going to be there any day now. In fact, she already tells me not to walk her to the door at school. Sniff sniff.
